A LETTER FROM THE FOUNDER
Dear friends,

Over the course of several years and more specifically, after my first year as a public school teacher, I realized there were three key areas within our community that youth need the most service: physical (health), mental (academics) and spiritual (ethical and moral character). After careful consideration, encouragement from mentors, and God given inspiration, in 2014 I was driven to create Gameface 4:13 Training Academy. It started off as just a small basketball camp for the kids in our community, but as I look back on the progress we have made over the years our organization has thrived and grown to be so much more than just a basketball camp. We have had the opportunity to fulfill the vision of pouring into the lives of youth in several areas off the court, but keeping basketball at the center. Gameface 4:13 Training Academy empowers, builds character, and produces young leaders. With a mission so large, it is impossible to achieve alone. We have many partners and supporters, but need more. In fact, we need you. Please join us on this journey as we leave a legacy as a change agent and game-changer for the community.
The very fabric and DNA of our organization is mentorship. We mentor youth through three life-changing channels: physical training, mental training and spiritual training. Our organization desires to give youth a powerful head start in these three specific areas, by designing strategic methods that are creative, fun and innovating.
As the founder of the organization, my heart is to be a great steward of the talents God has given me and use those specific talents to impact youth and families. I am passionate to lead youth toward holistic success with the help of friends, family, partners, and community leaders. I have confidence this vision will succeed.
